June 9, 2016 by Jack Canfield 12 Comments “Jack, what daily practices have played the biggest role in helping you achieve your level of success?” This is one of the most frequently asked questions I get from almost everyone I meet – from my students, to top CEOs, to the great Oprah Winfrey, who asked me this very question before I appeared on her show. I find that the most powerful actions I take every day are those that help me shift my attitude, cultivate a success mindset, and keep my most ambitious goals and dreams top of mind so I stay on target and achieve them faster. Here are the six daily practices I use to stay inspired, keep my energy and confidence high, and accomplish more with greater joy and ease. Add them to your daily routine and I guarantee ...

Awareness of a problem is halfway to its solution. Not so with new year's resolution. Every year, people are told to list things they want to do (or get rid of). Commonly listed are: 1. Dieting. Eat much during Christmas and New Year's eve and start dieting first day of the year. Better said (or listed) than done. 2. Save money. Splurge on the holiday buys and start saving the the new year unfolds. In most cases, the one concerned is insolvent at the start of the year, having spent the last centavo for the two consecutive celebrations. 3. Changing one's bad habits. Doing it is as hard as a camel enters the eye of a needle. So what's new and what is there to start with? They say the procrastination is "putting off for tomorrow what one can do today." Yeah, the so-called manana habit. "Bukas na lang ako mag-diet."Bukas na lang ako mag-save."Bukas na lang kita mamahalin (uhrrmmmm)." Procrastination happens when there are a lot of...

The book,"The Richest Man in Babylon"written by George Clason was written with ancient Babylon as it's setting. It tells of a man named Arkad, who was regarded as the richest man in Babylon. I found this book so outstanding in simplifying issues related to the most sought-after, but often misunderstood subject-money. Like any man seeking perfection amidst his imperfections, Arkad learned how to grow wealth through many life lessons, sometimes painful ones that later on made him a wise warden of the treasures of that ancient kingdom . Arkad offers "seven cures for a lean purse (or wallet, in the modern sense.) The following were Arkad's seven cures: The First Cure - Start Thy Purse to Fattening A fat purse is simply, a full purse. Arkad simply emphasized that we must save a portion of what we earn so our purse, or wallet, can fatten. He illustrated that one must save one tenths of what we earn, or simply put one egg out of ten eggs must be s...

This morning I watched On The Money over ANC featuring the owner of Lamoiyan Corporation , toothpaste manufacturer. Mr Cecilio Pedro recounted how he started from the scratch. He also glorified his parents for having taught him how to budget his money. His belief in God is overarching in all his talks about having money to do things he want to do but also to regard it as just a tool, and not and end in itself. I cannot but agree with him. His belief that all things that we have is of God cannot be disputed. After all, who makes things grow and who makes our planet revolve around its axis and around the sun? Mr Pedro's ability to budget his money and being able to succeed later is an example of how hard work can be the foundation of lifetime success. Surviving. What a complex word to discuss. Halimbawa nalunod yung barkong sinakyan mo at wala lang dalang kahit isang supot man lang ng bigas. Paano ka magsurvive sa islang walang katao-tao? Merong mga niyog doon at iba pang mga h...

This is how clear your mind will be if you are able to erase all your debts Your ambition of erasing your debts will be as high as this mountain but it's worth it! Eager to achieve financial freedom? Me too, has that kind of dream. I grew up poor and lack the mentor luck as they say, as well as the opportunity to better my life. As I struggle from one work to another, I see no hope of ever ever improving my life. I see life as an aimless venture, like a driftwood that goes from direction to direction, as the waves of the sea lashed at it. There seems to be a lack of people willing to help you out without getting something in return, mostly things that will cause you to regret it for the rest of your life. But as Malala would say recently, they can only shoot a body but not my ambition. So I strive. Until I got the opportunity to finish my education, got a job and worked to rise from the ranks. I can say that my life now is much much better than from my life while I was ...
