New Year's Resolutions Versus Procrastination

Awareness of a problem is halfway to its solution. Not so with new year's resolution. Every year, people are told to list things they want to do (or get rid of). Commonly listed are: 1. Dieting. Eat much during Christmas and New Year's eve and start dieting first day of the year. Better said (or listed) than done. 2. Save money. Splurge on the holiday buys and start saving the the new year unfolds. In most cases, the one concerned is insolvent at the start of the year, having spent the last centavo for the two consecutive celebrations. 3. Changing one's bad habits. Doing it is as hard as a camel enters the eye of a needle. So what's new and what is there to start with? They say the procrastination is "putting off for tomorrow what one can do today."
