Much has been said-and hurtingly so- about this government experiment of compensating government employees vis-a-vis their äctual performance. It is called the Performance-Based Bonus or PBB in short. PBB aims to reward the performing schools, offices- called delivery units. Those with acerbic tongues called PBB as "Puro But Bot" or roughly translated "pure nonsense"implying that there is nothing to await for, that officials are "natutulog lang sa pansitan". The the truth is, until this very date, November 25, 2014, no money has ever been downloaded, for the release of PBB. Of course there are rumors that Region 4A is receiving theirs already. Be that as it may, for Regions 10, 11 and Caraga, there is none yet. It's been a year now after that memorable CES Conference in Tagaytay and recently all roads led to the Queen City of the South-Cebu! The CES'website's tagline "Magkita ta didto bai"all the more drumbeat an exciting conference of the Career Executive Service Board and National Union of CESOS and Eligibles (NUCESO)! All third level appointees and eligibles meet in this annual government inter-agency gathering of #CESOs and #CES eligibles. The event was preceded by a gathering of #CESOs and #CES eligbles in the Department of Education under the auspices of Philippines Educators Association of Career Executives and Eligibles (PEACE), headed by Assistant Secretary Tonisito MC Umali, Esq. who was eventually reelected in the ensuing election of officiers.
