FENGSHUI AND PEOPLE
Fengshui literally means "wind and water". In Chinese lore this is called geomancy. Many rich taipans reportedly make good use of fengshui principles to let them stay in business from generation to generation. For some it is the art of placement, of being in tune with the Earth's constantly changing energy patterns. Being able to attune with this energy flows and to counter negative energy is bound to enjoy good fengshui, which invariably means good health, big wealth and having good descendant luck. Other people regard fengshui as a sort of divination and hence a sort of pagan practice that should be shunned by people who must practice good Christianity. Fengshui enthusiasts, however, maintained that fengshui is not a religion and does not go against any religious beliefs, even if the practice of fengshui originated with the Taoist and Buddhist disciples.
